Making Acupuncture Accessible

acupuncture needleAcupuncture has been utilized by billions of people for thousands of years. Over a quarter of the world's population in Asia still uses acupuncture as a regular part of their healthcare. In the United States, acupuncture has been recognized as a medical profession for over three decades, but only around 2 percent of the population has ever tried acupuncture. The Chinese administer acupuncture with frequent treatments, and it is the most effective way. Otherwise, results can be felt, but often disappear before the next appointment. If people can afford to receive acupuncture treatments on a regular basis, the results are cumulative and can be permanent. Happy patients not only continue to come back, but also bring family and friends. It is for this reason I have chosen to make acupuncture more accessible by not charging more for the initial visit (which is customary), and to set my fee low enough that most people can afford to continue to come as often as they want.

My current rate is $180 for the first visit and $90 per follow up visit and this does not include herbs, which may be an optional, additional expense. Please note that if you make an appointment and fail to keep it without giving at least 4 hours notice, it will still be billed as a normal visit.
